We are already in Week 3 of the NFL Season, and it’s time to kick off the Underdog Fantasy plays! We get a somewhat exciting matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins are 0-2 and looking for their first win of the season, while the high-scoring Buffalo Bills continue to remain undefeated.
James Cook HIGHER Than 81.5 Rushing+Receiving Yards
James Cook
Buffalo Bills • RB • 4
This is a no-brainer ‘click the higher’ situation here. James Cook has been a machine for the Bills after the first two weeks. He recorded 102 combined rushing and receiving yards in Week 1 versus the Baltimore Ravens on 13 carries and five receptions. In Week 2 versus the New York Jets, Cook finished with 135 combined rushing and receiving yards. He did that with 21 carries (99% of the work) and one reception on one target for three yards.
Miami’s defense has struggled so far this season (and injuries do not help). The defense has allowed 375.5 yards per game – 139 yards allowed on the ground and 236.5 yards through the air. Even if Cook isn’t a part of the passing game, the Bills should take a nice lead and rely on him to kill the clock and control the field through the run game.
Tua Tagovailoa HIGHER Than 0.5 Interceptions Thrown
Tua Tagovailoa
Miami Dolphins • QB • 1
This is no disrespect to Tua Tagovailoa, but this is a smaller multiplier (x.84) and for good reason. The Dolphins quarterback has already thrown three interceptions in two games, and it has not been pretty. Tagovailoa most likely will have to play from behind and be relied on more to throw in this game script.

De’Von Achane LOWER Than 12.5 Rush Attempts
De'Von Achane
Miami Dolphins • RB • 28
Riding the train of the Tua Tagovailo breakdown to De’Von Achane. This game doesn’t call for a run-heavy script for Miami, and I suspect they will be throwing to try to stay in the game. For Achane, that isn’t ideal. He also has yet to surpass 12 carries in a game this season. In Week 1, a blowout by Indianapolis, Achane only had seven carries. In Week 2, a 33-27 loss to New England, he had 11 carries.
The second-year running back was involved more in the passing game last week and had eight receptions on ten targets. This offense is going to continue to struggle against top teams like the Buffalo Bills.
Dalton Kincaid HIGHER Than 29.5 Receiving Yards
Dalton KinCaid
Buffalo Bills • TE • 86
Dalton Kincaid may not be the flashiest player on the field Thursday, but he has a reasonable HIGHER/LOWER for his receiving yards. Kincaid has recorded eight receptions on ten targets through the first two games (four receptions in both games). He recorded 48 yards in Week 1 in the shootout against Baltimore and then 37 receiving yards last week versus the Jets.
Miami has not been able to slow down tight ends. Tyler Warren recorded seven receptions for 76 yards in Week 1, and Austin Hooper recorded 38 yards in Week 2. Even Mo Alie-Cox recorded a 20-yard reception against their defense in Week 1. Expect Kincaid to do the same.
