In this weekly series, the crew will break down their top plays for the day and tell you why you should target them! This Sunday boasts numerous games of bad defenses matched up against fun offenses on paper, and it could lead to a lot of high scoring and fantasy football fun this week. Let’s take a look at some Underdog plays to win ourselves some money.

Amon-Ra St. Brown HIGHER than 6.5 Receptions

I am personally of the opinion (one shared by many), that the Detroit Lions are going to absolutely boat race the Cincinatti Bengals. Dan Campbell has never been shy about pouring it on against hapless defenses, and I’m going to play this week like that is what happens once again. In that vein, Amon-Ra has been the best receiver in football this year not named Puka Nacua, and I like the play of targeting Jared Goff’s favorite target.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba HIGHER than 6.5 Receptions

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Seattle Seahawks • WR • #11

Folks, it’s time. JSN is here to stay, and he’s Sam Darnold’s only true weapon on a weekly basis. It doesn’t matter what the game script is, and it doesn’t matter how far ahead or behind the Seattle Seahawks are. JSN gets fed, week in and week out. I don’t see any reason why that should change this week.

Nico Collins HIGHER Than 72.5 Receiving Yards

Nico Collins

Houston Texans • WR • #12

2025 Season Stats
FPTS54.0

TD2

The Baltimore Ravens defense is truly atrocious so far this year. They cannot stop the common cold, and are now missing multiple high-caliber starters on both sides of the ball. In steps the Houston Texans, with an offensive line that also could not block the common cold, but a much more competent QB in CJ Stroud. More importantly, Nico Collins gets a matchup against this defense, and he has the potential to hit this higher on a single reception.

Dak Prescott HIGHER than 242.5 Passing Yards

Dak Prescott

Dallas Cowboys • QB • #4

2025 Season Stats
FPTS75.9
COMP121
YDS1141
TD7
INT3

Speaking of putrid defenses, the New York Jets have one of those! This game projects to be a shoot-out, and Dak has shown a propensity for throwing the ball over and over again, regardless of game situation. The Jets will have a hard time slowing Dak down in this game, even without CeeDee Lamb.

Troy Franklin HIGHER than 3.5 Receptions

Troy Franklin

Denver Broncos • WR • #11

2025 Season Stats
FPTS44.7
TAR27
REC18
YDS207
TD1

This is a sneaky one, to be sure. But Franklin has 28 targets through 4 games, for an average of 7 per game. If that trend continues in this game against the Eagles, Franklin just needs to catch more than 50 percent of his targets to hit his Underdog higher on this play. Troy has looked much improved this season, and there’s a good chance that Courtland Sutton is shadowed in this game, which could open up Franklin for an expanded role even moreso than he’s seen so far.
