We have another two game Monday night slate this week. Cincinnati is trying to keep their winning record without Joe Burrow against a Denver team trying to get back to .500. On the other side of the country, New York goes to Miami, where both teams are looking for their first win. We are taking a look at both games to bring you five picks and a win Monday night.

Garrett Wilson HIGHER Than 61.5 Receiving Yards

Garrett Wilson

Wilson is coming off an 84 yard and one touchdown game versus Tampa Bay. Wilson is by far the most trusted receiver on New York. His 30 targets lead the team, while next closest is Breece Hall with 13. The rest of the team combined has 34. Justin Fields is coming back and will be looking to find his best receiver early and often.

Wilson will be up against a struggling Miami team that is allowing an average of 137 receiving yards per game to wide receivers. Overall, Miami is allowing 225.3 passing yards a game. For a New York team that is really relying on a single player in the receiving game, this is a good match up for Wilson.

Justin Fields HIGHER Than 46.5 Rushing Yards

Justin Fields is coming back from concussion protocol, after taking a hit in Week 2. Even though he did not finish that game, he still managed to rush for 49 yards. He also rushed for 48 yards in Week 1. He may be a quarterback, but he has always been a strong rusher since he has been in the league. New York has emphasized that they want to continue to run the ball, whether it is Hall or Fields.

Miami has done a good job preventing quarterbacks from running on them this year. They have allowed a total of 82 rushing yards to the quarterback position this year. They are coming off a Week 3 performance where they allowed an average of 6.9 rushing yards per attempt to Josh Allen. Do not expect the same average out of Fields, but look for him to have significantly more attempts than Allen’s four.

De’Von Achane HIGHER Than 92.5 Rush + Rec Yards

De'Von Achane

De’Von Achane has been Miami’s offense this year. Besides being the lead rusher, he is also second in receiving yards. He is also tied with Tyreek Hill with the most targets on the team and has the most receptions. This is a projection he could flirt with on a weekly basis. He is coming up a 92 total yard game against Buffalo last week and a 92 yard receiving game the week before against New England.

New York is only allowing 21.3 receiving yards per game to running backs. However, they are allowing 133 rushing yards per game. So far this season, they have only faced Bucky Irving as a real dual threat back. They allowed 99 total yards to him last week. Achane will be looking to have a big game this week while trying to give Miami their first win.

J.K. Dobbins HIGHER Than 63.5 Rushing Yards

Stop me if you heard this one, I am going HIGHER on Dobbins rushing yards. He has been a week after week pick to go HIGHER. That’s because he always does. This time his projection has gone up from 49.5 to 63.5. The thing is, 63 yards is the lowest he has recorded in this young season. Until his projection skyrockets, he is my go-to this year.

Dobbins is going up against against a Cincinnati team that is giving up an average of 119 rushing yards per game. Denver’s passing game has not been anything to turn heads. In fact, outside of Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin, their receivers have less than 50 receiving yards this season. More than half of each of Sutton’s and Franklin’s yards came off a single performance. Coming off a 70.8% snap share, look for Dobbins to continue his consistent running attack.

Ja’Marr Chase HIGHER Than 5.5 Receptions

Ja'Marr Chase

Ja’Marr Chase continues to, and will continue to always be, the go to guy in Cincinnati. He is currently averaging seven receptions a game. He is by far leading his team in targets and receptions. Cincinnati’s rushing game has been struggling this year. They currently do not have a rusher above 100 yards three weeks into the season. Even with Jake Browning at quarterback, this is a number that Chase flirts with regularly.

Chase is going up against a good Denver defense. However, they are coming off a week where they allowed at least 6 receptions to three different receivers. In his last matchup versus Denver, Week 17 last season, Chase had nine receptions. While I do not expect another nine reception game from him, it should be very close. Expect Browning to target his number one receiver early and often.
