Welcome back folks! It’s already Week 7, and I’m back once more to walk you through one of the biggest games you can play on Underdog Fantasy, the Battle Royale. The Battle Royale is a 6-person, 6-round fantasy draft. There are no bench spots, and you must start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, and 1 Flex spot.
Your goal is to pick the best combination of six high-scoring players, with the weekly grand prize available of $50,000 to the ultimate drafter. If you’ve never played on Underdog before, try it out! Click this link and sign up for Underdog Fantasy. Play $5, get $100 in bonus funds to use on other games and drafts. If you want to join in the fun, read on to see my favorite plays to target in Week 7.
Running Backs Do Matter
The first round by ADP on Underdog is entirely running backs and lacks both Christian McCaffrey and Bijan Robinson. Jonathan Taylor is the 1.01, and after that, it definitely seems as though you can pick whomever you want to fill out the 1st round. I like De’Von Achane and Quinshon Judkins the most in the group, as Judkins faces a bad Miami defense, and Achane is just diet CMC this season with his pass-game usage.
The second round is mostly WRs (along with Jayden Daniels at QB), including an interesting decision with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. With Lamb sounding likely to return this week, the question becomes whether Lamb immediately just reclaims his alpha status or if there is more of a balance between the two players. The Cowboys’ offense is absolutely cooking this season, and their defense is atrocious. They are the 2024 Bengals all over again, and you should be doing what you can to have pieces of this team in your lineups every single week.

Perfectly Balanced
Rounds 3 and 4 are strikingly balanced in Week 7 on Underdog, with no real lean to any one position group. This arguably gives you the chance to more or less choose the players you feel strongly about, without having to worry too much about structure or later value.
I personally want to target the Cowboys and Commanders game this week, so players like Javonte Williams, Deebo Samuel, Bill, Dak Prescott, and Jake Ferguson are all very interesting to me in this range, especially if you got Lamb, Pickens, or Daniels in Round 2. Otherwise, you also have access to Mahomes at full strength with Rashee Rice back from suspension, and the clear top 2 TEs in McBride and Warren.
SCROLL
This week, more than ever, I will be pounding the table for you to scroll down the ADP for your last 1-2 picks on your BR teams. Yes, there are some fun options out of the more popular late-round selections that you are more than free to grab 1 of if you have conviction. However, with so few teams in the player pool, this points to a week where some low-owned, low-drafted player is going to pop off for fantasy and win people money.
Some scroll targets for me personally, especially if you’re drafting high volume: TreVeyon Henderson and Chuba Hubbard are great late RB shots to take, especially with Chuba still being treated as the starter by the Panthers right now. At WR, Luther Burden has opportunity and talent, Jerry Jeudy eats up targets and faces Miami, and Elic Ayomanor may be without Ridley in the Titans’ post-coach debut.
Who to Target
So who should you take? I’ll tell you who my targets are at each position, keeping in mind the idea of balancing good projectable volume with understanding how the field may build their lineups.
