The New York Giants have placed star wide receiver Malik Nabers on injured reserve after he suffered a torn ACL, according to the team’s official site. Head coach Brian Daboll confirmed Monday that Nabers will miss the remainder of the season, marking a major setback for the Giants offense. Nabers is expected to undergo surgery in the coming weeks, and while the Giants have not provided an official timetable, there is optimism he could return for the start of the 2026 regular season.

With Nabers sidelined, the Giants will turn to Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, and Jalin Hyatt as their primary receiving options. Beaux Collins and Gunner Olszewski could also see expanded roles in the passing game. The injury is especially difficult for an offense already adjusting to life with quarterback Jaxson Dart taking over under center.

Losing Nabers for the remainder of the season is a tough blow for New York, as he had been expected to serve as a cornerstone piece in the passing attack. The Giants must now lean on a committee approach to fill the void while looking toward a healthy return from Nabers in the future.
