Week 10 might be one of the most condensed, disgusting slates I can remember, but I’m back to help us think through the best ways to save some dough in the DraftKings Sunday slate. Let’s dive into some players at the $5,000 salary or less to target to supplement the stars and try and win some cold hard cash!

J.J. McCarthy

J.J. McCarthy

Minnesota Vikings • QB • #9

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary4900
FPTS48.9
YDS506
TD4
INT4

J.J. McCarthy didn’t look half-bad in his return from injury last week against the Lions. The yardage wasn’t there, but he threw touchdowns when called upon, and he scrambled a little to really help him get to a respectable fantasy score. They now face the Baltimore Ravens, and while certainly better than they were in the beginning of the year, Baltimore’s defense still isn’t the world-beater we are used to them being. If McCarthy continues to run, and can hit on 2-3 more touchdowns this week, he offers great value at $4900 on DraftKings.

Jacoby Brissett

Jacoby Brissett

Arizona Cardinals • QB • #7

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary4600
FPTS70.5
YDS911
TD6
INT1

Don’t look now, but in his 3 starts so far this year for the Arizona Cardinals, Brissett is averaging 23.4 DraftKings fantasy points per game. It has not mattered how good or bad the opposing defense is, Brissett is putting up fantasy production and is heavily targeting his best weapons in McBride and MHJ. Seattle’s defense is no slouch, but in a divisional matchup the Cardinals have to win to really stay in even the hunt for the playoffs, expect Arizona to come out swinging and doing anything they can to win this game.

David Montgomery

David Montgomery

Detroit Lions • RB • #5

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary5000
FPTS99.2
Touches102
YDS501
TD5

This season has been very cut and dry for David Montgomery, now that we have a strong sample size of games and opponents faced. When the Lions face a bad defense, you can and should play Montgomery. And when they face a good or even average defense, you should not play him. Well folks, great news! Washington is a bad defense, and they are missing their franchise QB to boot. There is a solid chance that Detroit absolutely steamrolls this game, and DMont is a good bet to make on being part of that gameplan.

Emari Demercado

Emari Demercado

Arizona Cardinals • RB • #31

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary4500
FPTS26.1
Touches25
YDS181
TD1

This play is absolutely disgusting, let me be the first to admit to that. But that’s really the state that this DraftKings slate is in to be honest. Value is harder and harder to come by, especially with some of the best offenses in the league either on bye or in primetime. Demercado quietly took over the backfield from Bam Knight last week against Dallas, getting more rushing and receiving work than Knight. The coaching staff has been coy about this backfield all week, but I think they are probably going to give Demercado the majority of the work.

Jameson Williams

Jameson Williams

Detroit Lions • WR • #1

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary4900
FPTS77.6
REC21
YDS355
TD3

Remember the bad defense I mentioned for David Montgomery? This is also the spot that I want to play Jameson Williams, against bad defenses that don’t have the personnel in the secondary to really be able to challenge or take away Jamo in the game. Now he’s not guaranteed very many targets, but for him it really only takes 1 or 2 big plays for him to pay off, especially at $4900. I won’t be overweight on Jamo this week, but he is one of my favorite cheaper DraftKings plays to supplement your lineups.

Rashod Bateman

Rashod Bateman

Baltimore Ravens • WR • #7

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary3900
FPTS45.6
REC15
YDS184
TD2

Lamar Jackson is back and fully healthy, and the Ravens are facing the blitz-heavy Vikings team that will send the kitchen sink and the piping to get after the QB any given play. Jackson is one of the few QBs in football who can avoid that much blitzing and still turn those plays into big gains, and one of his primary targets on those types of plays is Rashod Bateman. Bateman has been very quiet this year, mostly due to missing Lamar, and with him back I could easily see a 10-15 point game out of Bateman if things go his way on a play or two.

Parker Washington

Parker Washington

Jacksonville Jaguars • WR • #11

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary4700
FPTS67.6
REC25
YDS297
TD2

Not only is Travis Hunter on IR, but BTJ and Hunter Long are also missing this game for the Jaguars. While Jakobi Meyers will play his first game for his new team, Parker is still the primary slot receiver, and he will most likely still be Trevor Lawrence’s primary target in this game. Washington has double-digit targets in every game that he’s been a “starter” and played the majority of snaps, and there’s no reason to believe that will stop now when he’s needed more than he ever has been this season.

Jerry Jeudy

Jerry Jeudy

Cleveland Browns • WR • #3

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary3900
FPTS48.0
REC22
YDS257
TD0

I know, I know. Gross. I agree to be honest with you. But someone of Jerry Jeudy’s talent level and ability to earn targets in a given week is just too tempting to pass up at $3900, especially against what will most likely be the worst defense in football the rest of the way, the tanking New York Jets. Even in a bad offense with a mediocre QB, Jeudy could still easily produce for you in this game if he gets a lucky break or two. I won’t be playing a lot of Jeudy, but I would be remiss to pass on him entirely in what is a wide open, gross DraftKings slate.

Juwan Johnson

Juwan Johnson

New Orleans Saints • TE • #83

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary3700
FPTS89.9
REC39
YDS399
TD2

Rashid Shaheed is gone to Seattle, and only Chris Olave and Juwan Johnson really remain as viable pass-catching weapons in New Orleans. While it didn’t go well last week with Tyler Shough, Johnson still produced just fine for you on DraftKings, and he projects to give you a solid 8-14 point range almost every week. And at only $3700, that’s a perfectly fine baseline score to help you get to some of the big guns on the slate.

Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews

Baltimore Ravens • TE • #89

2025 Pricing and Stats
Salary3400
FPTS73.6
REC26
YDS230
TD4

Value is very hard to come by this week on DraftKings, even at the Tight End position. There are basically no TEs under $3000 that feel even slightly good to roster, except maybe Taysom Hill. However, Mark Andrews at $3400 feels about as good of a play as any at that price tag. He caught 2 touchdowns last week from Lamar on 2 receptions, and he could easily give you similar production again if he catches 1 less touchdown and 3 more passes. He’s not slow or washed at this point in his career, he simply hasn’t needed to be the primary receiver for Baltimore that he needed to be a few years ago before Zay Flowers was drafted.
