In somewhat of shocking news, Houston Texans will not be activating running back Joe Mixon by tomorrow’s (Tuesday) deadline. Mixon will now miss at least the first four games of the season.
The latest reports and/or rumors is that Mixon has been doing shock therapy on his injured foot. If that is the case, he could miss majority of the season. Head Coach DeMarco Ryan also will not speak on the serious extent to his star running backs foot. They are monitoring the situation and are okay heading into the season with Nick Chubb and Dameon Peirce.
🚨🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨🚨🚨
HOU is not activating running back Joe Mixon by Tuesday’s 4 pm ET deadline, making him ineligible to play at least the first 4 games this season due to an ankle injury.
Mixon will be moved to Reserve/Non-Football Injury, which automatically rules him out for at least 4 games.
