In this weekly series, the crew will break down their top plays for the day and tell you why you should target them! The “bye-pocalypse” is here, it’s National Tight End week, and there are some interesting game environments to target. Let’s take a look at some Underdog plays to win ourselves some money.
Bijan Robinson HIGHER than 1.5 Rushing +Receiving TDs
Bijan Robinson
Atlanta Falcons • RB • #7
I bumped this up to 1.5 touchdowns for some extra juice. But to be honest, I simply don’t see a way that Bijan doesn’t absolutely terrorize this Dolphins defense. Even with Kirk Cousins under center, this offense can still score a lot of points on the back of Bijan, and the Falcons will perhaps be more inclined to do so with their “backup” QB under center this week.
Even if it’s not on the ground, Bijan has been just as much of a terror as a pass-catcher, and his potential for touchdowns this week feels like some of the highest potential we’ve seen in years for a player. Everything is lined up just too perfectly to resist.
DeVonta Smith HIGHER than 6.5 Receptions
DeVonta Smith
Philadelphia Eagles • WR • #6
A.J. Brown has been ruled out this week, leading to a very clear play here with DeVonta Smith reception highers on Underdog (I juiced this one a bit too from 5.5 to 6.5). Whenever Brown misses, Smith and Dallas Goedert directly benefit in an almost predictable way, and both see massive ticks in targets and fantasy production. They also face a mediocre Giants defense, and after losing to them 2 weeks ago, the Eagles will certainly be looking for revenge in this game.

Cam Skattebo HIGHER Than 13.35 Fantasy Points
Cam Skattebo
New York Giants • RB • #44
The last time that Skattebo faced the Eagles, he scored 3 touchdowns and had a massive fantasy performance. That almost certainly won’t happen again, but it also feels unlikely that Philly will be able to completely shut down Skattebo either. While the yardage he’s gained hasn’t quite reached the same level, Cam is getting almost the same amount of work that Bijan Robinson has been getting. That is an elite workload for fantasy, and pairing that with even a single touchdown will all but guarantee that Skattebo eclipses this mark on Underdog.
Tee Higgins HIGHER than 0.5 Rushing + Receiving TDs
Tee Higgins
Cincinnati Bengals • WR • #5
Joe Flacco has reinvigorated what looked to be a dead Cincinnati Bengals offense, and they now face a bottom of the barrel New York Jets team that is missing Sauce Gardner to boot. I expect the Bengals to lay it on thick in this game, and it is hard to think that the Jets will be able to prevent both Chase and Higgins from getting theirs’ in this game. The last time the Bengals faced the Jets, Burrow and Higgins combined for 45 fantasy points in that game, and I could definitely see that as a possibility again this time around with Flacco under center.
Cade Otton HIGHER than 5.5 Receptions
Cade Otton
Tampa Bay Buccaneers • TE • #88
Besides Emeka Egbuka, there is truly no one left for Tampa Bay, despite having possibly the most wide receiver depth in the league on paper heading into the season. When the tool shed is bare, Baker Mayfield tends to turn to ol’ reliable, Cade Otton.
Similar to Dallas Goedert without A.J. Brown, Cade Otton without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin is a fairly predictable and reliable fantasy asset. He gives you lots of targets, lots of catches, and a truly surprising amount of Underdog fantasy points. All we need is 6 catches in this game, and I honestly think that’s a pretty reasonable expectation to have in this game.
