Another week, another chance to go HIGHER. We are here to help with your Underdog plays in Week 8. To start the week we get a chance to see the Minnesota Vikings match up against the Los Angeles Chargers. Let us help you get started in the right foot.
T.J. Hockenson HIGHER Than 3.5 Receptions
T.J. Hockenson
Minnesota Vikings • TE • #87
T.J. Hockenson has gone over this projection in every game since Carson Wentz has taken over at quarterback. He has had six receptions in each of the last two games. While the Chargers are 22nd in the league in receptions given up to tight ends this season, they are still giving up an average of four receptions to tight ends this season. Look for Wentz to continue to find Hockenson.
Kimani Vidal HIGHER Than 75.5 Rush + Rec Yards
Kimani Vidal
Los Angeles Chargers • RB • #30
If you look at his game log, you will see that almost all the yards came from one game. Instantly, you think “Well why would he get close to hitting HIGHER than his projection?” Even though they had to abandon the running game last week, they still kept Vidal active in the passing game. Minnesota allows 117.7 rushing yards per game and 25.3 receiving yards to running backs per game. Kimani Vidal is now essentially the lone back in Los Angeles. They had already lost Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton, now they are without Hassan Haskins. He will have a good matchup this week to step up.

Quentin Johnston HIGHER Than 3.5 Receptions
Quentin Johnston
Los Angeles Chargers • WR • #1
While Johnston might be third on his team in receptions, he has been the most consistent in hitting HIGHER than his projection. He has hit HIGHER than his projection four of the six games he has played in. While Minnesota will be concentrating more on keeping Ladd McConkey and Keenan Allen in check, look for Justin Herbert to find Johnston open often up the middle.
Jordan Addison HIGHER Than 51.5 Receiving Yards
Jordan Addison
Minnesota Vikings • WR • #3
Everyone knows Justin Jefferson is the go to in Minnesota. He will be targeted early and often. In only half the games played than any other receiver on the team, he already has the second most yards on the team. He also has more than half the yards Jefferson has. In two of three games played, he has gone HIGHER than his projection by more than double. Look for Addison to flirt with this projection by halftime.
