Week 6 is here, bye weeks and Europe games are in full swing, and I’m back once more to walk you through one of the biggest games you can play on Underdog Fantasy, the Battle Royale. The Battle Royale is a 6-person, 6-round fantasy draft. There are no bench spots, and you must start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, and 1 Flex spot.
Your goal is to pick the best combination of six high-scoring players, with the weekly grand prize available of $50,000 to the ultimate drafter. If you’ve never played on Underdog before, try it out! Don’t Get Cute
In weeks past, we’ve talked through having specific targets and picking your spots early on in drafts. However, this week has an incredibly efficient, well-positioned ADP in the first 12-13 picks or so. It’s split pretty evenly between receivers and running backs, and there aren’t any obvious mis-pricings to me. The big boys are at the top of Round 1, and Round 2 is chalk-full of touchdown upside.

The Tight End Decision
There are four Tight Ends all within six picks of each other this week on Underdog, and your choice on which of the four (if any) you play could be one of the deciding factors for your week. I personally prefer Tucker Kraft (currently the 4th of the 4), as I think his matchup against a hapless Cincinnati Bengals defense could result in explosive scoring opportunities for Kraft.
Outside of the tight ends, there are some intriguing wide receiver options available, including some emerging primary target options in Tet, Waddle, and the revitalization of Stefon Diggs. Running back feels both gross and somewhat vacant, with only Quinshon Judkins and Rico Dowdle as the current options here.
Choose Your Own Adventure
The last two rounds this week are truly about as “choose your own adventure” as it gets. There’s only one quarter back being drafted ahead of this range, and you are free to basically choose whichever quarter back you want to build a stack with in a week where there are no “elite” Quarterbacks available to draft.
I also really like the variety available at receiver in the last two rounds. You have some upside shots like Metcalf, MHJ, and BTJ, alongside some steady target earners like Pittman, Flowers, and Keenan Allen. I will say, running back does look pretty thin in the late rounds, so consider that when planning your early round builds in drafts.
Who to Target
So who should you take? I’ll tell you who my targets are at each position, keeping in mind the idea of balancing good projectable volume with understanding how the field may build their lineups.
