In this weekly series, the crew will break down their top plays for the day and tell you why you should target them! Monday Night Football features the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars in what could definitely be a fun matchup to wrap up Week 5. Let’s take a look at some Underdog plays to win ourselves some money.
Patrick Mahomes HIGHER than 4.5 Rush Attempts
Patrick Mahomes
Kansas City Chiefs • QB • #15
I played this exact same play last week for the Sunday games on Underdog, and I will be playing it again this week for Monday Night Football. Mahomes simply runs the ball anywhere from 5-8 times a game basically like clockwork, and there’s also opportunity to include kneel downs as part of this play. No matter what else happens, I feel confident in this one.
Brian Thomas HIGHER than 10.95 Fantasy Points
Brian Thomas
Jacksonville Jaguars • WR • #7
It’s time folks. I am here to very bravely announce that Trevor Lawrence is not going to continue only connecting on 33% of his throws to Brian Thomas Jr. This game projects as the first time the Jaguars will truly have to have an excellent game plan in order to put up points against a Superbowl level defense like Kansas City. And to me, that game plan almost certainly will have to involve their star WR in BTJ (and hopefully Travis Hunter). If the Jags keep this game competitive, BTJ should have a big part to play.

Trevor Lawrence HIGHER Than 8.5 Rushing Yards
Trevor Lawrence
Jacksonville Jaguars • QB • #16
Even though his rushing stats so far this season haven’t really reflected it, Trevor Lawrence will take off and run when he needs to, especially if it’s to get a first down. Eight and a half yards isn’t very much, and while there is some risk with kneel-downs, let’s be honest, we aren’t expecting the Jags to be in that position in this game. I like seeing if TLaw can make something happen in this game with his legs, especially at such a low total.
Xavier Worthy HIGHER than 5.5 Receptions
Xavier Worthy
Kansas City Chiefs • WR • #1
Xavier Worthy looked basically completely healthy last week off his major shoulder injury suffered on basically the first route of Week 1. He wasn’t too cautious or afraid of getting tackled, and the Chiefs had a strong game plan in place to get him involved in high-value, low-risk ways. I think that continues here against the Jags, and until Rashee Rice is back from suspension, Worthy is truly the only pass-catcher that can stretch a defense and give Mahomes a valuable weapon to utilize on the field.
