The Colts got a scare when Jonathan Taylor took an awkward hit to the neck area in Sunday’s win, but HC Shane Steichen confirmed the star RB is “good.” Steichen added Taylor could’ve re-entered the game if needed, but with a comfortable lead, the team chose caution.
That decision also gave Indianapolis a chance to evaluate rookie RB DJ Giddens, who saw extended work late. While Taylor’s status isn’t in doubt, the Colts may have unearthed some valuable depth behind him.
