Veteran NFL reporter Tom Pelissero has indicated that the New York Giants are expected to waive tight end Greg Dulcich, as the team finalizes its 53-man roster heading into the regular season. Dulcich, a former third-round pick from UCLA, joined the Giants via waivers in late 2024, following a string of hamstring injuries and a stint as a healthy scratch during his time with the Denver Broncos.

Pelissero: Greg Dulcich to be cut by the Giants.

Drafted 80th overall in 2022, Dulcich flashed potential in his rookie year before injuries disrupted his development over the next two seasons. After joining the Giants, he provided depth but found himself in a crowded tight end room competing alongside Theo Johnson, Daniel Bellinger, and Chris Manhertz.

With NFL rosters trimmed down by the August 26 deadline, the Giants seem prepared to part ways with Dulcich to make room for higher-priority contributors and cap-friendly options. While coach Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen have yet to issue an official statement, the move underscores the difficult decisions teams face during final roster cuts.
