Shemar Stewart’s Agent Responds To Bengals Front Office

The Cincinnati Bengal’s owner (Mike Brown) and director of player personnel (Duke Tobin) made comments on Shemar Stewart’s holdout currently with his rookie contract. Brown called the whole situation “silliness” while Tobin did not hold back. Tobin said Monday, “I think Shemar needs to be here. I’m not going to blame Shemar. He is listening to the advice he is paying for”.

Now Stewart’s agent, Zac Hiller, has responded. Hiller stated, “Duke Tobin has had no involvement in this negotiation. It seems to be above his pay grade”. This whole situation is boiling over and it’s about when the signing bonus payouts would trigger once (or if) Stewart signs on the dotted line of his rookie contract.
