The Cincinnati Bengals drafted EDGE Shemar Stewart with the 17th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, Stewart is holding out over a contract dispute that centers around language in the contract regarding future guarantees.
Reports have been everywhere, and the latest has been that Stewart may just return to college. Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko denies the reports but states that he has been around the facilities, training and getting ready for his first season with the Bengals.
Texas A&M HC Mike Elko on report that EDGE Shemar Stewart may return to college: "There's no intentions of Shemar to play for the Aggies this year. But Shemar has been around. … He's been training, getting ready for his season this year with the Bengals. We wish him the best."
